Music has always been a part of me. I started singing practically before I could talk, and by the time I hit middle school, I was in both choir and band. It wasn't until a bit later that I discovered my true love: the guitar. Nine years later, I can confidently play acoustic, classical, and electric styles, with a special fondness for classical guitar that I honed during my four years at Southwestern University.

 

But music wasn't my only passion at Southwestern. I also graduated with a degree in business! See, I have this dream of opening my own business someday, one that blends my two biggest passions: food and music. You could say I'm a bit of a multi-instrumentalist in life! While guitar is my main squeeze, I've also been tickling the ivories for five years, and drums were my first foray into making some noise (though maybe not the most controlled noise!).

 

Being part of the Southwestern University Jazz Ensemble for a year on drums and then electrifying things with the electric guitar for two years was an incredible experience. It mixed my musicality with a taste of the business side of things, like collaboration and performance.

 

That business side is what fuels my dream of opening a unique space that combines delicious food with the magic of music. With my musical background and business education, I'm confident I can create something special. Stay tuned – the future's looking bright (and maybe a little bit musical!)
